4 x 6 Polycarbonate Greenhouse Review

When the package arrived (very quickly - 2 days after ordering) everything was there. Every single component was clearly labelled or marked stamped and the instruction manual was pretty good. Putting the greenhouse together was pretty straightforward and far easier than I expected - I only needed a little help when fiting the frame together. A good tip for you DIYers - make sure that the base is dead level and the corners 90 degrees from the word go. Once built, the entire greenhouse is so light that it cab be easily lifted and moved by two people but remains rigid and stable. If you're a fan of construction kits, you'll enjoy building this greenhouse.

6 x 6 Polycarbonate Greenhouse Review

Review 1
This greenhouse took me about 2 days to build. Building the framework was quite easy and I found that by following the instuctions to the word it all went well and there were no bits left over! The second was very windy and fitting the poly sheets was a real pain. I had to loosen off all the nuts to allow for movement to square things but even then fitting some of the panels was a nightmare. The constant loosening and tightening of the bolts left me with numb fingers. If you are going to buy one of these greenhouses I recommend that you have a toolkit of your own to hand as the tool supplied with the building is rubbish.

Review 2
The greenhouse instructions are simple to follow and all components are numbered. If you're already a seasoned DIY fan you shouldn't have any problems. The only real flaw is the glazing system: the pannels made of thin polycarbonate but are very robust. They fit snugly into the spaces between the frame but the plastic glazing strips are not the easiest things to fit a bit of a pain to put in as you need to apply some force to fit them and I managed to break the plastic tool before I'd finished building. There were a few minor problems but overall this greenhouse was fairly easy to put up and we are very pleased it.

8 x 6 Polycarbonate Greenhouse Review

I have an average size garden and needed some extra growing space that I could also use in the winter. The 8 x 6 frame is ideal; it gives me plenty of room for my plants but doesn't take up a great deal of space. I did look at the 4ft by 6ft buildings but they didn't seem big enough (but that could just be me). Having owned a glass panelled greenhouse for about 20 years I was sure that it was the best material available. Now that I've seen how well polycarbonate works, I'll never go back. I did some reading on the internet to see how the material works and it's all true: very rarely do I get condensation and the temperature is constant. Highly recommended.
